Born and raised in Southern California, I was surrounded by simplicity and beauty. My interest in art and expression began around the age of 8, when I began applying my HTML interest through websites. Also learning the basics of Java and CSS, I explored the world of graphic design and computer graphics through drawing. My early teenage years came with different forms of expressing myself, both through art and writing. As I found solace and happiness in my digital camera, I realized what beauty I found in the world around me, and as my strengths and weaknesses were learned, I decided to pursue taking photos. An amazing Christmas gift later, my Canon Digital Rebel XTI took me to new heights photographically. Since then I've taken a handful of photography classes and learned quite a bit about developing film as well as composition. However, after everything, I still prefer dabbling into the world from my own eye's view, not from a book's constructed formula. I still have much to learn, and am extremely open-minded about my opportunities and experiences. I love to take photos, and with that joy, I plan to reach new heights.
